Cilia2024 is running a separate patient day satellite meeting that takes place on Sept 09-10 in the O’Reilly hall conference center in University College Dublin (same venue as the main Cilia2024 meeting). The patient-focused meeting provides dedicated sessions & events tailored to patients and patient support groups, and will be attended by invited experts in ciliopathy genetics, therapeutics and clinical trials. The meeting’s main objective is to provide an open forum, with bilateral exchange between patients and scientists. The patient meeting is also integrated with day 1 of the main Cilia2024 program that incorporates a dedicated patient-scientist exchange session and a layperson-accessible poster session.

Please note that whilst the meeting will be conducted in English, several bilingual volunteers will be in attendance to help with translation.

Registration for the patient day meeting is ONLY for ciliopathy patients, patient representatives and carers. Registration is free, and includes all patient meeting and Cilia2024 events scheduled on Sept 09 and Sept 10. Note that registration does NOT include travel and accommodation. For accommodation, check out the ACCOMMODATION PAGE of the Cilia2024 website that has details of preferential conference rates for the nights of September 09-12 (note that the Sandymount Hotel also offers the preferential rate for the night of Sunday September 08).
